These Terms of Service govern your use of Iron Muse Academy, a golf education platform operated by J&R Crowder Enterprises LLC. By using the App, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — we've kept the language as clear and straightforward as possible.
By creating an account or using Iron Muse Academy (the "App"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Iron Muse Academy is a golf education platform designed for golfers who are learning to play. Features include:
We offer both a free tier and a premium subscription. Features available at each tier are described in the App and may change over time.
To use certain features, you must create an account. By registering, you confirm that:
One person may not maintain more than one account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately.
Iron Muse Academy offers recurring subscription plans billed monthly or annually. By subscribing:
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
Founding Membership is a limited offering available to the first 100 subscribers. Founding Members receive a price-locked rate for the lifetime of their continuous subscription. Important terms:
The App may award temporary premium access as a reward for practice streaks or other achievements. These rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for a refund or credit on a paid subscription.
Iron Muse Academy operates a referral program where you can earn rewards by inviting friends to join. Program terms:
You retain ownership of data you create in the App — your scores, practice logs, notes, and uploaded photos or videos. By using the App, you grant Iron Muse Academy a limited, non-exclusive license to use anonymized and aggregated versions of your data solely for the purpose of improving the App and its features. We will never sell your individual data or use it in ways that identify you personally without your consent.
Ask Muse provides general golf guidance and educational information. It is not a substitute for professional golf instruction or in-person coaching from a certified instructor. Responses are generated by AI and may not be accurate in all situations. Use Ask Muse responses at your own discretion and risk. Iron Muse Academy is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated guidance.
The GPS Companion feature provides yardage estimates based on GPS technology and course coordinate data. GPS accuracy may vary based on device, location, weather, and course conditions. Yardage distances provided by the App are estimates only and should not be the sole basis for club selection or on-course decisions. Iron Muse Academy is not liable for decisions made based on GPS yardage data.
The Partner Finder feature helps connect you with other Academy Members for golf. You are solely responsible for your own safety when arranging to meet other users in person. Iron Muse Academy does not vet, background-check, or verify the identity of users. We are not liable for any interactions or incidents arising from in-person meetups arranged through the App. Use good judgment and standard safety precautions when meeting anyone you've connected with online.
You agree not to:
Iron Muse Academy, the Iron Muse Golf brand, and all App content — including course materials, graphics, text, AI responses, and software — are owned by J&R Crowder Enterprises LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our written permission.
Iron Muse Academy integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI coaching), PostHog (analytics), Kit/ConvertKit (email), Google (maps), GolfAPI.io (course data), and Resend (email delivery). Your use of these features is also subject to those providers' terms of service. Iron Muse Academy is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Iron Muse Academy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, J&R Crowder Enterprises LLC and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Iron Muse Academy. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Utah.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.
